Bicycle Music In Ottawa — A Musical Breeze

If you’re a music fan and you love your bike, check out Chamberfest and the Rideau Canal Festival – Bicycle Music ’09, A Musical Breeze. Combining landscapes and soundscapes cyclists of all ages can wind their way by the beautiful Rideau Canal and participate in this unique musical event.

While riding your bike along the canal—a world heritage site— you will be entertained by a series of Chamber music mini-concerts. Cyclists are invited to contribute to the musical soundscape by “ringing a bell for 8 seconds” or “singing a high pitch” at designated spots on the cycling route.
