Cycling In The Haliburton Highlands

The Haliburton Highlands Cycling Coalition advocates for, promotes and celebrates cycling in the Haliburton Highlands. Our vision is that Haliburton County provides safe and enjoyable cycling opportunities of all types and all ages. We are a community-based organization that includes representatives from public health and the cycling community. Our activities are varied, and address a wide range of local cycling interests and needs. For example, we…

  • updated and reprinted a Bike Haliburton County map, which we sell for $3 at locations throughout the county
  • worked with a consultant to develop a Cycling Master Plan for Haliburton County
  • hold a spring celebration of cycling, “Shifting Gears”, which includes skill building workshops, guided rides, bike film night and cycling festival, taking place over a 6 week period
  • partner with other groups to promote cycling for fun, health and transportation.

Haliburton Highlands is a great place to cycle — rolling terrain, quiet roads, clean air, great scenery — check our website to find out more!
